In Maharashtra’s Nashik district, political tensions surged as Shiv Sena legislator Suhas Kande allegedly threatened independent candidate Sameer Bhujbal with death during a clash over voter fraud accusations in the Nandgaon constituency. Bhujbal, acting on reports of bogus voting, confronted Kande at a college campus where voters were reportedly concealed. The heated altercation, captured on video, included Kande’s alleged Marathi threat, “Your murder is fixed today.” Bhujbal, an NCP member running independently, has filed legal complaints, while Kande denies targeting Bhujbal, claiming his warning was misinterpreted amid a scuffle between supporters. Police are investigating the incident.
