MUMBAI: Campaigning for the 2024 Maharashtra Assembly Elections concluded on Monday, with Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde rallying support for Shaina NC, the Shiv Sena candidate for the Mumbadevi constituency.
Shinde led a grand bike rally and Rath Yatra in the constituency, showcasing the unity of the Mahayuti alliance.
Chief Minister Eknath Shinde’s Statement
Shinde’s participation added weight to the event, which saw large public attendance. Highlighting the rally’s success, he expressed confidence in the alliance’s prospects:

Shaina NC, a former BJP spokesperson and a prominent candidate, exuded optimism, writing on X:
“The enthusiasm and support of the people in the rally proves that the victory of Mahayuti in Mumbadevi is certain. This event is a symbol of the resolve of Mahayuti and the faith of the people in the development of the area. We are all united to give a new direction to Mumbadevi!”

Mumbadevi’s Political Battleground
The Mumbadevi seat, currently held by Congress MLA Amin Patel, has been under Congress control since 2009. Shaina NC faces a tough battle against Patel, who is a seasoned politician with deep roots in the constituency.
The Mahayuti alliance hopes that Shaina’s dynamic campaigning and strong backing from Shiv Sena will swing the constituency in their favor.
