Mumbai experienced cooler weather with hazy skies on Monday. However, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) reported a slight rise in temperatures:

  • Santacruz Observatory: Maximum temperature recorded at 35.8°C.
  • Colaba Observatory: Maximum temperature at 34.8°C.
  • Expected temperatures:
  • Maximum: Around 34°C.
  • Minimum: Around 23°C.
  • Humidity: 76%.
  • Sunrise: 6:47 AM | Sunset: 5:59 PM.

The IMD predicts fog/mist in the morning and partly cloudy skies for the next 24 hours in Mumbai and its suburbs.

  • Sensor-based monitoring systems to detect pollution levels.
  • Formation of ward-level squads to monitor and enforce compliance.
  • Immediate action will be taken if pollution exceeds permissible limits.

These efforts aim to mitigate construction-related pollution and improve air quality across the city.
