Sunil Prabhu, Shiv Sena (UBT)
1. Contributions to constituency development:
Before I became the MLA, Kurar Village in my constituency struggled with a high crime rate. Working closely with the police department and local officials, we took strong measures to address this issue, resulting in a significant reduction in crime. Today, the area enjoys a much-improved law and order situation. Additionally, I have worked on the development of concrete cement roads and created new roadways to enhance connectivity. I have also focused on resolving water supply issues and will continue to address challenges related to the Slum Redevelopment Authority.
2. Healthcare improvements:
Regarding healthcare, the allegations made by Mahayuti candidate Sanjay Nirupam are inaccurate. In my constituency, we provide subsidised dialysis services at Divya Apartment, Triveni Nagar, Dindoshi. The Appa Pada Urban Primary Health Centre offers multi-specialty outpatient services to residents. Moreover, I am working on a plan to develop a well-equipped hospital at the current site of S K Patil Hospital in Malad East, covering over 5 acres, with state-of-the-art medical technology.
3. Initiatives for youth and open spaces:
I am focused on creating opportunities for the youth and expanding open spaces. I am developing projects like the Shardabai Govind Pawar Multipurpose Sports Ground and a fully equipped garden in Dindoshi. To support Std X students, I distribute model question papers to aid their preparation for board exams. I make myself available to the people 24/7 to ensure their needs are addressed.
4. Environmental initiatives:
The challenge of air pollution is significant, and it requires collective responsibility. As an MLA, I have consistently prioritized the protection of our green cover. I initiated the Miyawaki forest project and have personally planted thousands of trees in my constituency to help combat environmental issues and improve air quality.
5. Loyalty to Uddhav Thackeray:
I remain a committed Shiv Sainik, deeply loyal to the legacy of Hindu Hriday Samrat Balasaheb Thackeray. My allegiance to Uddhav Thackeray is unwavering, as whatever I am today is due to Shiv Sena, Balasaheb, and Uddhav Saheb.
