West Indies have made two key changes to their squad for the remaining T20I matches against England. All-rounder Andre Russell has been ruled out for the rest of the series due to a left ankle sprain sustained in the first match, and Shamar Springer has been brought in as his replacement. Springer, who made his T20I debut during the Sri Lanka tour, will join the squad for the next three matches.
The second change sees pacer Alzarri Joseph return to the squad after serving a two-match suspension. Joseph had been banned following an on-field altercation with ODI captain Shai Hope in the 50-over series. He will replace Shamar Joseph in the squad for the final three T20Is.
Currently, England lead the series 2-0 after dominant performances with the bat in the first two matches. The remaining T20I matches will take place in Saint Lucia at the Daren Sammy Stadium on 14, 16, and 17 November 2024.
