Netflix will finally let you take screenshots of your favourite movie scene: Here is how

Netflix has just launched a new feature that fans have been waiting for: Moments, a tool that lets you capture, save, and share your favorite scenes directly from the Netflix app on mobile. Until now, Netflix has blocked screenshots to prevent content sharing, but with Moments, they’re embracing a whole new way for fans to connect with their favorite shows and movies.

Here’s how it works: as you’re watching a scene you love, just tap the Moments button at the bottom of the screen to save it to your My Netflix tab. This feature not only allows you to revisit that moment anytime but also lets you jump straight to that exact point when you rewatch. For those who want to share, Moments makes it easy – you can post saved scenes directly to social media platforms like Instagram or Facebook.

Currently, Moments is available worldwide on iOS, with Android access coming in the next few weeks. And as part of the launch, Netflix’s “It’s So Good” campaign is spotlighting iconic scenes with stars like Cardi B and Simone Biles sharing moments that resonate with fans. Netflix hints that more interactive features are in the works, signaling a shift towards a more connected viewing experience. So whether you’re gearing up for Squid Game Season 2 or rewatching Bridgerton, you can now save, share, and relive every unforgettable moment.
