Arvind Kejriwal, AAP’s national convenor, has accused the BJP of orchestrating an alleged attack on him during a recent ‘padyatra’ in Delhi’s Vikaspuri area. Kejriwal challenged the BJP to prove its strength by competing in elections rather than resorting to attacks, calling on Delhi voters to avoid supporting the BJP. He argued that the party would dismantle key free schemes, including subsidized electricity and public education, implemented by his administration.
Kejriwal emphasized that AAP’s ‘padyatras’ are aimed at engaging with Delhiites ahead of the assembly elections expected in February 2025. The incident, labeled as an attack by “BJP goons” by AAP leaders, comes amidst a larger campaign of public rallies by AAP across Delhi.
