IND vs NZ: Who did Rohit Sharma blame for the defeat? He named THESE two players

New Delhi: After losing the first match of the Test series against New Zealand by 8 wickets at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Indian captain Rohit Sharma admitted that getting all out for 46 runs in the first innings was the biggest problem for the team. He said that his team would do its best to win the next two matches. Rohit Sharma looked disappointed with this defeat. However, he did not blame anyone for the defeat, rather he was seen praising two players, due to whom the match reached the last day.

Who was blamed for the defeat?

Rohit said after the match, ‘These kind of matches happen. We will forget this and move forward. We have won four matches after losing one match against England. We know what each player has to do.’ He admitted that he made a mistake in understanding the situation, but he also said that he did not think that the Indian team would be out for 46 runs.

Rohit Sharma praised Rishabh Pant and Sarfaraz Khan. Praising Pant and Sarfaraz, Rohit said, ‘We could have easily been out for less than 350 runs. This is something we are proud of. Pant played a mature innings and also played his shots. Sarfaraz was very clear and mature in his third or fourth Test.’ Let us tell you that India scored 462 runs in the second innings only due to the partnership of 177 runs for the fourth wicket between Sarfaraz Khan (150) and Rishabh Pant (99), which gave New Zealand a target to win.

Hope for a comeback in Pune:

Team India is trailing 0-1 in the three-match series.
