The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is set for a show of strength in Chandigarh today, where Prime Minister Narendra Modi will chair a national conclave of NDA chief ministers and deputy chief ministers. This event coincides with the swearing-in ceremony of Nayab Singh Saini as the new Chief Minister of Haryana.
After the oath-taking, the CM Conclave will address significant issues such as the observance of “Samvidhan Ka Amrut Mahotsav,” marking the celebration of the Constitution, and the 50th anniversary of an event referred to as an attempt to “murder” democracy.
A total of 13 BJP chief ministers and 16 deputy chief ministers will be in attendance. Additionally, chief ministers from NDA-ruled states such as Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Sikkim, Nagaland, and Meghalaya will also participate.
Key political leaders, including Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, and other senior figures like Ajit Pawar, Conrad Sangma, and N. Chandrababu Naidu, are expected to join the conclave.
This meeting marks a significant political gathering of the NDA post their government formation for a third term, likely focusing on strategic political and social discussions for the alliance.
