- Independent candidate Balraj Kundu, contesting from Meham, has alleged that he and his personal assistant were assaulted by former Congress MLA Anand Singh Dangi and his supporters outside a polling booth. Balram Dangi, Anand’s son, is running for the Meham seat as the Congress candidate.
- Congress leader Rahul Gandhi urged voters in Haryana to focus on issues like farmers’ welfare, employment, and women’s rights, calling for large participation in support of Congress in this crucial election. He made the appeal through a post on X (formerly Twitter).
- Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Saini called on the state’s residents to aim for a 100% voter turnout.
