Dr Rajiv Menon said that the Republican Party started by uniting the depressed classes while dedicating his life to fighting against the Indian caste system and against untouchability.

The Republican Party of India, which has been a constituent of the ruling NDA since 2004, is headed by Union Minister for Social Welfare and Empowerment Ramdas Athawale. The RPI has a committee in every state in the country. This is a party that has been with the NDA government at the Centre for the last three terms. He has been the Minister of State in the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India since 2016 and has represented Maharashtra in the Rajya Sabha, the upper house of India’s Parliament, since 2014. Dr Rajiv Menon added that the RPI is a movement that stands with the Narendra Modi government to take the country towards greater growth.
