The Akkineni family have condemned the derogatory comments made by Telangana minister Konda Surekha over Naga Chaitanya’s previous marriage with Samantha Ruth Prabhu linking their divorce with BRS leader KT Rama Rao. Naga’s younger brother Akhil Akkineni shared a blatant message over the minister’s remark.
Akhil retweeted his mother’s post, where he penned a message saying it was disheartening to see a political leader create domestic drama and supporting his family to deal with who he said to have to deal with such “sociopaths”.
He wrote, “My dear mother I support every word you have said and I am With you and the family..I’m sorry that you have to address this demonic nonsense but we have no choice sometimes but to deal with such sociopaths.”
In the post shared by her mother Amala Akkineni earlier, she expressed her shock at Konda Surekha’s statements, describing the minister as a “demon” for conjuring false allegations against her family.
She wrote, “Shocked to hear a woman minister turn into a demon, conjuring evil fictions allegations, preying on decent citizens as fuel for a political war. Madam Minister, do you rely and believe people with no decency to feed you utterly scandalous stories about my husband without an iota of shame or truth? This is really shameful. If leaders lower themselves into the gutter and behave like criminals, what will happen to our country?”
Naga Chaitanya also responded to the controversy, clarifying that his divorce from Samantha was a mutual decision made with respect and dignity. He also mentioned that the remarks made were not only false but also ridiculous and unacceptable.
