The National Testing Agency, NTA, is set to release the exam calendar for major national entrance exams for the 2025-26 academic year shortly.
Following last year’s trends, the NTA Exam Calendar 2025 PDF is expected to include the exam dates and modes for key exams such as the Joint Entrance Examination – Main (JEE Main) 2025 (Session 1 and 2), the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test – Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2025, the Common University Entrance Test – Undergraduate (CUET UG) 2025, CUET PG 2025, and the University Grants Commission – National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) 2025.
Candidates will be able to access the NTA Exam Calendar 2025 online by visiting the official NTA website at nta.ac.in.
Last year, the dates for the 2024 exams were announced on September 19, setting a precedent for the expected announcement timeline this year.
NTA is expected to commence the registration process for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025 in November 2024. As one of the most sought-after engineering entrance exams in India, JEE Main serves as the gateway for admission to undergraduate engineering programs at premier institutions. The JEE Main 2024 session 2 will be held from April 4 to 12.
The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) UG 2024 was conducted in a hybrid format, combining both OMR/pen and paper and computer-based testing, on May 15, 16, 17, 18, 21, 22, 24, and 29. In addition, the National Testing Agency (NTA) organised a re-test on July 19 for candidates who were affected during the initial testing dates.
According to data released by the NTA, a remarkable 22,290 candidates achieved full marks across various subjects in the exam. Out of the 13,47,820 unique candidates who registered for CUET UG 2024, a total of 11,13,610 appeared for the examination.
