Punjab minister Dhaliwal meets Bittu , seeks better rail network in Amritsar district

Punjab Minister of NRI Affairs, Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal, met with the Minister of State for Railways, Ravneet Singh Bittu, in New Delhi on Tuesday to discuss railway-related concerns in the Amritsar district.

Dhaliwal presented a memorandum to Bittu, urging the minister to improve rail connectivity in the border region and link it with the rest of the country. He specifically called for the revamping of Ramdas railway station, located near the international border, and proposed renaming it after Baba Budha Ji. In response, Bittu assured Dhaliwal that the issues raised would be addressed in a timely manner.
