The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) intensified its criticism of Rahul Gandhi, Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, following his recent remarks during his visit to the United States. On Wednesday, Union Home Minister Amit Shah strongly condemned the Congress leader, stating that it has become a recurring pattern for Gandhi to align with “forces that conspire to divide the country.”
Addressing Gandhi’s comments, Shah accused him and the Congress party of regularly making statements that undermine national interests.
In a post shared on the social media platform X, Shah remarked, “Rahul Gandhi and the Congress party have developed a habit of supporting forces that conspire to divide the nation and making anti-national statements. Whether it’s backing the JKNC’s anti-national and anti-reservation agenda in Jammu & Kashmir or delivering anti-India rhetoric on international platforms, Rahul Gandhi has consistently jeopardized the nation’s security and hurt public sentiments.”
