RCB’s Savage Dig At Pakistan After Humiliating Whitewash Against Bangladesh Goes Viral: ‘Winning At Home…’

Pakistan cricket hit a new low after they suffered a 2-0 defeat to Bangladesh at home. The hosts underperformed across formats in recent years, but nothing would hurt them more than losing to Bangladesh at home. Pakistan did not turn up for the series and made a lot of mistakes. They were poor in the field and did not get their combination right. They left out Abrar Ahmed in the first Test on a wicket that turned a lot while they didn’t play Shaheen Afriri and Naseem Shah in the second Test which had a lot of help for the fast bowlers. Also, the batting was below par as none of the batters looked comfortable at the crease.

Pakistan were brutally trolled after the shambolic defeat to Bangladesh. Royal Challengers Bangalore also took a savage dig at the Shan Masood-led side after the humiliating defeat. RCB did not directly mention Pakistan in their post but it was evident who they were targeting. Pakistan are yet to win a Test at home since February 2021, when they had whitewashed South Africa. Since then, the team lost 3-0 to England and played a 0-0 draw against New Zealand in 2022-23 before. The team has not won a Test in their previous 10 games, which is their second all-time low. India, on the other hand, have been a brute force at home. India’s last Test series defeat at home was against England in 2012. Since then, the team has won 15 consecutive Test series and two standalone Tests against Bangladesh and Afghanistan.”Winning at home isn’t as easy as this team makes it look like,” wrote RCB on X.

Meanwhile, the defeat to Bangladesh has jeopardised Pakistan’s chances of reaching the WTC final. The team needed wins over Bangladesh and England at home to have a realistic chance, however, their hopes took a beating after the series defeat. Pakistan would now need to beat England 3-0 and South Africa 2-0 in an away series to make their case.
