Another big day awaits for the Indian athletes, with Lovlina Borgohain, Lakshya Sen, and the Indian men’s hockey team in focus. Lovlina, who won a bronze at Tokyo 2020, will look to replicate the feat in Paris as she takes on China’s Li Qian in the women’s 75kg boxing quarterfinals. A win for Lovlina will guarantee her a medal and the pugilist from Assam will look forward to achieve the same.
We also have our hockey team in action. The Harmanpreet Singh-led unit will take on Great Britain in the quarterfinal action. India started their campaign on a patchy note but have gained momentum as the competition progressed.
