Presentation Details
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the Union Budget today at 11 am in the Lok Sabha. Due to the Lok Sabha elections earlier this year, an interim budget was presented in February. Today’s Budget marks the first full budget by the BJP-led NDA government since its re-election.
Economic Projections
The Economic Survey 2023-24 forecasts a real GDP growth of 6.5 to 7 percent.
